Aren't one core of them enough poweful for them? Theoretical yes but the real life is an another story. It uses only one core CPU and some brand new CPUs can't handle perfect. P.D: I think that, if recommended spec for CPU is 2GHz, and you have a MulticoreCPU, no matter wich one, each core with at least 2GHz, then multicore shouldn't be any problem. Low-Mid-PC at most, and never had fps issues. That was a P4 3 Ghz and a 5500Fx from Nvidia (1027*768). I remember playing this game in my old computer almost 10 years ago in high settings, I do not have the original case at home anymore, though. I know old games have been in some cases a real pain, but never heard a game that can be played but with performance issues. You all tried Windows compatibility options, didn't you?
